A brief history of Norwich
Whilst there is evidence of human habitation of the East Anglian region going back to Palaeolithic times and there is evidence of Romans being in the region, recorded history of Norwich itself actually begins around 520 AD.

Norwich is not a city that is particularly well known for its night-life. It does, however, have some fine restaurants, pubs and cafes with charm and history that you wouldn’t encounter in other cities.

With a population of just under 122,000 people Norwich is the 149th largest town or city in the United Kingdom. Norwich has one relatively new university the University of East Anglia.
